Healthy Chocolate Jam “Doughnuts”

These chocolate jam “doughnuts” are so fluffy and easy to make! You can have them for breakfast or dessert! They are perfect for a meal prep and only take 10 minutes to make! They have lots of protein and are super chocolatey!

Servings: 11. Prep time: 10 minutes. Cook time: 20 minutes. Total time: 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oats (or flour)

1/2 cup flour of choice (or more oats)

1/8 cup protein powder (preferably chocolate), can substitute with more flour

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1/2 cup

2 egg whites or 1 egg (flax egg will also work)

1/8 tsp baking powder

Splash of vanilla

5 grams or 1 tsp (approximately) sugar or sugar substitute (I used stevia)

1/2 cup water

3 tbsp + 2 tsp jam of choice (this is optional)

oil or cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f. Place 11 cupcake liners into a cupcake trey. Spray the liners down with a little oil.
  2. Add all ingredients (excluding the jam) into a medium sized bowl. Mix well. Pour the mixture evenly between the cupcake liners.
  3. Dollop 1 tsp of jam into each centre of the liquid. This is the centre filling for your “doughnut”. You could also exclude the filling and place them in a doughnut trey. Bake for 15–25 minutes. Enjoy!
